May 29th 2018, the WIBEC seminar on “Radiofrequency Localisation Techniques” took place in Cartagena, Spain. The seminar was organized by the Universitat Politècnica de València and was collocated and jointly organized with the COST Action CA15104 “Inclusive Radio Communication Networks for 5G and beyond”, IRACON (http://www.iracon.org/). The ESRs of the WIBEC network were able to follow the seminar both presentially on-site or online through a live connection.

The seminar aimed at covering the current state of the art in radiofrequency localization and tracking algorithms, and exposes some application scenarios both for the indoor and outdoor cases. It was given by Prof. Klaus Witrisal (Graz University, Austria), Dr. Davy Gaillot (University of Lille, France) and Dr. Mónica Navarro (Centre Tecnològic de Telecomunicacions de Catalunya, Spain), all of them expert in localization based on radiofrequency information.
