This year’s keynote speakers will address the importance of multi-core computing for the Internet of Things (IoT).

Torstein Heggebø

Nordic Semiconductor

System-on-Chip solutions for Internet-of-Things applications. Why multi-core and how.

  • Why multi-core for IoT?
  • Why high performance even for simple IoT applications?
  • Some hardware and software architectures for single- versus multi-core IoT solutions.
Bio: Dr. Torstein Heggebø has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Norwegian Institute of Technology in 1989. He has 25 years’ experience in hardware and software development of system-on-chip products (SoC) from Nordic Semiconductor ASA.
