Two new autonomous underwater vehicles at NTNU AMOS and the AUR-lab

Last week, NTNU AMOS and the AUR-lab took delivery of two Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) from the Portuguese company Oceanscan.
They report:
We went through training and delivery tests, and the vehicles performed excellent!
The AUVs have been named Harald and Fridtjof. Harald is configured for upper water column research, while Harald is equipped for seabed mapping.
We are eager to get the vehicles back in the water to get more experience and test our code on these open source systems. On November 21 and 22, we will arrange a training camp on Slettvik.
