On 29 August at the Marine Technology Centre, Ingvald Strømmen, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Science and Technology at NTNU, and Neil Bose, Principal of the Australian Maritime College at the University of Tasmania, signed the Memorandum of Understanding between the two universities.

The Memorandum of Understanding states that the two parties will seek to promote:

  1. Mobility of graduate and/or undergraduate students
  2. Mobility of faculty and/or staff
  3. Joint research activities and publications
  4. Participation in seminars and academic meetings
  5. Exchange of academic materials and academic publications
  6. Special short-term academic programs

The Department of Marine Technology are looking forward to a mutually beneficial collaboration.
