About the programme

The Dual Degree programme between NTNU in Trondheim, Norway and Technische Universität Berlin (TUB) is a two-year Master’s double degree. Students that successfully complete the programme will be awarded with a Master Degree in Electronic Systems Design from NTNU and a Master Degree in Computer Engineering from TUB. Up to five students from each University will be able to participate in the programme each year.

Requirements

  • TUB Students Need to hold a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Digital Media and Media Technology or Electrical Engineering.
  • English skill on CEFR Level B2

Study

Students need to earn 60 ETCS from NTNU and 60 ECTS from TUB.

Programme components

The Master’s programme in Electronic Systems Design is a two-year programme of study totalling 120 credits.

At NTNU you can choose from two programme options:

  • Signal Processing and Communications
  • Acoustics for Communication, Environment and Sensing

Admission - dual degree

Admission

Admission to the dual degree program requires that you are a student in NTNUs 5-year Master's Degree Programme Electronics Systems Design and Innovation (MTELSYS) or have been admitted to the NTNU's 2-year Master Degree Programme Electronic Systems Design ( MSELSYS) program.

Applications are considered by the coordination committee for the Dual degree program at NTNU and TUB. NTNU students should send an application to Andrew Perkis

The deadline for admission to TU- Berlin for the study year 2024/2025 is June 1, 2024. More information can be found at TU-Berlin
