WP6
Case studies for Petroleum (OpenLab) and Power Grid (DS Enclave)
WP leader: Siv Hilde Houmb, NTNU
The focus for the case studies is two-fold: (i) Evaluate results from WP 3 and 4 using the cyber-attack fingerprints developed in WP2 and (ii) Evaluate the incident management decision support models from WP5 (test the dashboard prototype).
This WP will run in parallel with WP2, WP3, WP4 and WP5 in an iterative process where the technical WPs (WPs 2, 3, 4 and 5) develop the approach and WP6 evaluates the approach and provides feedback for improvement to the technical WPs. Furthermore, each case study shall build on the previous case study to ensure a continuous improvement of the quality of the results produced and to provide consistency in the evaluation and validation of the results throughout the project.
Tasks:
- A6.1: Select results from WPs2, 3, 4 and 5 to be evaluated and validated in the specific case study. To ensure data validity and consistency in testing the project results, a case study plan and testing procedures will be developed as part of this activity.
- A6.2: Prepare case study infrastructures. The two case study infrastructures, OpenLab and DS enclave, shall be prepared to ensure that necessary systems, components, and services are running as desired, and that the site is setup according to the activities defined for the specific case study. Two case studies per year, per infrastructure platform is planned throughout the project period.
- A6.3: Perform case study, record, evaluate and verify results. Each case study will evaluate and verify results from the technical work packages in the project. Resulting data produced in the case study, including evaluation results and discussions shall be recorded and documented.
