About Master in Georesources and Geotechnology

Do you want to learn about the Earth's resources that the society depends on today and in the future?

Georesources and Geotechnology consist of natural sciences, engineering subjects and computer technology. On Master in Georesources and Geotechnology you will learn how to discover and extract minerals and oil and gas resources in an environmentally and economically sustainable manner. Avoiding pollution and environmental damage is an important aspect of the master's programme. 

You can choose one of the following main profiles:

  • Applied Geophysics
  • Resource Geology
  • Minerals Production
  • Petroleum and Reservoir Engineering

Language of instruction: Norwegian

You have to meet the Norwegian language requirements, or have a Scandinavian language as your mother tongue, if you want to apply to any of NTNU’s degree programmes taught in Norwegian.

The application deadline for the programme is April 15th. Students apply through Samordna Opptak.
