About Master in Geology
Geology is the 'study of the Earth' - its composition, structure and development from formation up to present day.
On Master in Geology you will learn about minerals, rocks, fossils and sediments. You learn to analyse, model and solve geological problems and understand the role geology plays in the society.
You can choose one of the following main profiles:
- Arctic Geology
- Environmental and Construction Geology
- Applied Geology
Admission
Language of instruction: Norwegian
You have to meet the Norwegian language requirements, or have a Scandinavian language as your mother tongue, if you want to apply to any of NTNU’s degree programmes taught in Norwegian.
The application deadline for the programme is April 15th. Students apply through Søknadsweb.
