Course content
Practical educational training is an integral part of the three-year vocational teacher education. Together with the vocational and professional subjects, the practical training shall provide the student with a basis for training on 8-13. grade. Practical training includes professional practice in business/enterprise and pedagogical practice in upper secondary school and junior high school.
Guided practice is included as a central part of the course. The purpose of the course is to develop the student's prerequisites in order to be able to provide training, guidance and instruction within his / her own field/education program. Learning outcomes require active participation, systematic guidance, planning, implementation and assessment of own practice. The course also emphasizes the use of own experience from practice and the development of competence in the professional and professional subjects.

Learning methods and activities
The total number of practical training days is 45 days. All practical training is mandatory and should be supervised. During pedagogical practice, the student should be responsible for planning, conducting, and evaluating a minimum of 15 teaching hours.
Similarly, vocational practice should be supervised, and during vocational practice, the student should work on defined work requirements.
