Course content

Design is about analyzing and compiling different elements to create a certain effect. Insights and ideas in combination with form, function and technique are compiled into a coherent whole. The effect on the end user is essential.

Learning outcome

Knowledge:

Significance of the design process elements and the compilation of these.

General qualifications:

Understanding end-user-effect.

Learning methods and activities

Lectures, project work.

Further on evaluation

Students are evaluated on assignments in different topics of the course:

Drawings from drawing lectures, model images from a technology assignment and a holistic presentation of the design assignment should be submitted in a PDF.

For a re-take of an examination will be held in the next semester.

Admission to a programme of study is required:
Industrial Design Engineering (MTDESIG)
