Course content

The topic of the report must be based on your own research and be related to the other topics chosen for the Research track. The project topic is to be chosen in collaboration with the supervisor. The project work may be conducted individually or through student groups, and shall result in a draft for a scientific paper written in English. The paper may be designed as a pilot for future PhD-studies.

Learning outcome

Knowledge: The aim of the course is to provide knowledge of choosing the right organizing, contract streategy, the right analytical tools and the right planning and control tools in front end of building projects. Skills: The candidate can use methods within project planning and control, tools for analyzing projects in front end to be able to choose the right project and as basis for project control. General competence: The candidate can understand and use terms and understand when and where different methods are suitable and understand limitations in use of different methods.

Learning methods and activities

The project work is performed as an independent work under supervision. Seminars.

Admission to a programme of study is required:
Marine Technology (MTMART)

Required previous knowledge

Admission to the Researcher's track for the 5-year MSc in Marine Technology
