Course content
A guided self-study of topics relevant for the students specialisation project (TMA4500).
Whenever offered, the student can choose two themes (3,75 sp) within topics relevant for Industrial Mathematics. What themes to choose from varies for each year.
Learning outcome
The course is supposed to provide additional knowledge in mathematical or statistical areas related to the chosen project (TMA4500).

The themes are given as lectures, sometimes with exercises, seminars, or as guided self-study courses.
Recommended previous knowledge
Courses from the programme Applied Physics and Mathematics, Industrial Mathematics major or equivalent. The requirements are set by the subject teacher.
