Knowledge

  • The student is familiar with key concepts and prerequisites for evaluating sustainability in the process industry.
  • The student has knowledge of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and can use them to evaluate how studied process solutions contribute to the green shift.

Skills

  • The student can apply his/her professional competence in collaboration with people from other disciplines to develop more sustainable industrial processes.

General competence

  • The student understands how the process industry can contribute to a sustainable society.

Learning methods and activities

Teaching consists of both teacher- and student-led activities.

Compulsory activities include:

  • Attendance is compulsory.
  • Preparation of a cooperation agreement between the members of the student team during the first two village days.
  • Oral presentation of the project and a dialogue about the teamwork in the student team when the teaching ends.

The compulsory activities must be approved before the final reports are submitted for assessment. It is a prerequisite that the entire student team participates.
