About the course
Course content
Using system thinking and industrial ecological perspectives, the student shall investigate or analyse issues connected to environmental management or corporate social responsibility (CSR) within an enterprise’s organization, a value chain or product development. Relevant tools and methods include ISO-standards, EMS, LCA, product declarations, environmental reporting and auditing, strategic and practical use of national and international initiatives and concepts for sustainable industrial business.
Learning outcome
The project shall give the students in-depth knowledge within specific areas of environmental management and corporate social responsibility (CSR), and knowledge and skills to address problems of a scientific nature and report achieved results.
Learning methods and activities
Supervised independent project work.
Recommended previous knowledge
A precondition is that the student has taken courses that provide a sufficient basis and qualification for the project work.
