Course content

The course consists on a written project focusing on a theme central to the innovation and entrepreneurship area. The project work is usually done in groups of 2-3 students.

Learning outcome

The position and function of the course: - The course is obligatory for students in their 9. semester at MTIØT who take Corporate entrepreneurship as their main profile. Knowledge and skills developed in the course: - The students will acquire specific knowledge about one or more central research areas within innovation and entrepreneurship mangement. - The student will through the project work develop a platform for his or her own specialization within the field. - The student will develop his or her ability to think constructively - the student will learn how to structure a research project, and how to utilise research methodology in a practical setting to ensure a high level of quality of the work.

Learning methods and activities

Independent written exercise with regular supervision meetings with faculty members.

Required previous knowledge

This course is reserved for students of the master's programme in industrial economics and technology management specializing in innovation and entrepreneurship. Students taking this course also needs to take TIØ4536 Entrepreneurship, specialization Course. In addition, the following courses must have been taken: TIØ4265 Strategic Management and TIØ4170 Technologybased Business Development.
