About the course

Course content

In order to develop and keep competitive advantage is it of vital importance to understand the dynamism in innovation and technology development processes. This course makes use of both theory and practical examples in order to give insight into main challenges in technology based business development. Students will by real life exercises be trained in order to make use of different types of tools in order to reveal the commercial potential in technology based ides.

Learning outcome

The course gives an introduction to organization and management of product and service development and how to facilitate corporate innovation and entrepreneurship in interaction with customers and third parties.

Learning methods and activities

Portfolio assessment is the basis for the grade in the course. The portfolio includes a final written exam (70%) and assignments (30%). The results for the parts are given in %-scores, while the entire portfolio is assigned a letter grade. If there is a re-sit examination, the examination form may be changed from written to oral.
