Learning outcome

KNOWLEDGE: The candidate have by carrying out the master project got in depth knowledge within a selected topic in Electronic Systems Design and Innovation. SKILLS: The project gives the candidate skills in realizing individual specialization projects, including the required work methodology and presentation of results. The candidate gains skills in performing an in-depth study of a specific topic using scientific work methods. This involves the search for completing material through literature surveys and combining results from such with personal knowledge. The candidate learns how to carry out a larger independent project. This includes project planning, reporting milestone results, and writing a final project report. GENERAL COMPETENCE: - The candidate can structure and present the results of an independent research project in a printed master thesis.

Learning methods and activities

Individual master thesis with supervision. The master thesis shall be documented by a written master dissertation and an mandatory presentation. The course evaluation is based on the submitted master dissertation.

Further on evaluation

The thesis must reflect on the sustainability relevance of the thesis based on the UN's sustainability goals.
