About the course

Course content

Project work, with primary aim to be a foundation for the master thesis the following semester. The project will focus on issues in bioinformatics and computational biology.

Learning outcome

The student will learn how to go into a specific problem using scientific methods, including aquiring complementary knowledge from litterature and other sources, and combining this with her/his own a priori knowledge. Furthermore, the student will learn how to complete a larger, independent project, including writing a project plan with milestones, reporting partial results and writing a final report according to professional and scientific standards.
