Course content
The seminar is for master students in statistics, and is held by appointment. The course gives an introduction to special topics in statistics and probability which are not covered within the ordinary curriculum. The topics may vary.

1. Knowledge. The student has a thorough knowledge of the various aspects of the given topic.
2. Skills. The student can recognise, understand and apply concepts and methods from the given topic.
Learning methods and activities
An oral final examination is the basis for the grade awarded in the course. The learning methods and activities of the course depend on the topics discussed.

Mathematical Sciences (BMAT)

Natural Science with Teacher Education, years 8 - 13 (MLREAL)
Recommended previous knowledge
Bachelor's degree in mathematical sciences with emphasis on Statistics, or finished the three first year at MTFYMA-Industrial matemathics (with focus on statistics) at NTNU, or equivalent.
