Course content

Students can choose to gather experience in working life during the third semester. The internship can be anything that is considered a relevant place of work as a person educated in psychology (internship can be in a research institute, school, municipality, company, public sector, NGO, etc.), but must be limited to specific tasks or outcomes. The students themselves are responsible for getting internships. Practical training periods last eight weeks (two months) and the students themselves agree on how many weekdays are spent at the research institute, company, or enterprise during the internship. Internships and assignments must be approved by academic personnel at the department.

The students will participate in a start-up meeting where information is provided about the arrangements for the practical training period and possible assignments and internship places. The students will participate in an experience exchange seminar during the semester where the learning process, goals, and achievements will be discussed.
