Course content
The course aims to give the students experience in ensemble playing in traditional or flexible ensembles. The ensembles' are established based on what is practical each academic year. The course also aims to establish motivation and routines for ensemble playing and chamber music playing in a life-long perspective. Included in this course is the activity "Samspill fra dag 1" from the introduction week. The course requires the students to organize ensemble-rehearsals throughout the academic year.

Skills
- The candidate have experience in ensemble playing and interacting with the other students.
- The candidate can manage different roles in ensemble playing.
Knowledge
- The candidate have basic knowledge in different interpretation and different styles.
Learning methods and activities
- Student organized ensembles: minimum 2-3 hours per week throughout the academic year.
- Instruction in some of the ensemble time (for students with organ as main instrument parts of teaching and activity are replaced by organ improvisation)
- Forum with chamber music theory and other relevant topics
- Samspill fra dag 1 (from introduction week)
Instruction is obligatory and demands minimum 80% attendance.
Compulsory assignments
- Satisfactory participation in compulsory instruction
- Participation in 1 concert
Further on evaluation
Practical exam with all the students participating in the course. Each students participate in about 10 minutes.
