About the course
Course content
Course curriculum is based on general introduction to mechanical engineering in particular. The subjects of interests are:
- Systematic working techniques.
- Introduction to 3D modelling and simple simulations.
- Building of models and systems with the digital and manual tools.
- Introduction to digitalization and sustainability.
Learning outcome
The candidate has
- the basic understanding of the engineer role in the domain of mechanical engineering
- product design and product development including basic elements of constructions, processes and operations.
- visualization and modelling using manual and digital tools
- communication of the obtained knowledge to people with different backgrounds and expertise.

Further on evaluation
Mandatory individual and group assignments must be approved during the semester. The project work is conducted in groups.
