About the course
Course content
In this course, students will work in groups to carry out a software project. The department will present a list of available projects. Students are required to work on their project and to attend common activities and supervision meetings. The results from each phase must be clearly documented in the mid-term and final report.
Learning outcome
Key objective of this course is to gain practical experience with the development of a software process for a customer, covering the whole life-cycle of the software project. The work has to be done in team. Students will develop applied skills in software engineering as well as specific skills about programming languages and tools depending on the specific project they will work with.
Learning methods and activities
In addition to the ordinary course registration, it is required to sign up of the project work during the first week of the semester. Work in group, supervision meetings, seminars, weekly status reports. During the semester all the groups must deliver a mid-term progress report that must be approved. Projects must be presented orally after delivery.

Informatics (BIT)
Natural Science with Teacher Education, years 8 - 13 (MLREAL)
Recommended previous knowledge
IT1901 Informatics Project I, TDT4100 Object-oriented programmering or TDT4102 Procedural- or object-oriented programming, TDT4140 Software Engineering.
Required previous knowledge
This course is only available to students admitted to bachelor in Informatics.
