Interaction between the subject areas in courses IELET2101, IELET2102 and IELET2103.
Learning outcome
Knowledge: The candidate can explain
- how a automation project can be planned and executed.
Skills: The candidate can
- demonstrate in practice the learning objectives of IELET2101, IELET2102 and IELET2103.
- manage a project and be a good team member.
- convey to others how a project was planned and executed.

Compulsory assignments
- Mandatory assignments
Further on evaluation
Mandatory assignments:
- Project meetings and practical demonstrations
- Preliminary project with report
- Communication setup with documentation
- Implementation of PID controller with documentation
- 3 out of 3 HMI/SCADA exercises must be approved
- Reflection note: Reflection on group dynamics, project management and progression
- Assessment of fellow students.
The work is carried out jointly in the project group, with the exception of the fellow student assessment, which is an individual work. Supervision takes place in the form of 4 project meetings with the supervisor/client during the semester. The works are delivered towards the end of the semester, where the reflection note and fellow student assessment are delivered after completion of the remainder of the course. Grading is individual, but is largely based on the project group's work and results.
The course exam consists of two parts; an oral exam which counts for 50% of the grade and a written report that counts for 50%.
