Course content
The course applies to all students at the Department of Design in Trondheim. The course focuses on HSE (health, safety and environment) for students and gives an introduction to risks associated with the use of workshop machinery as well as routines and handling of tools at construction sites. The course consists of two parts: a theoretical part and a practical training at the workshop
Learning outcome
Students shall have the necessary knowledge about HSE to ensure their own and other people's safety during their study at NTNU. This includes knowledge of the HSE-concept, objectives for the HSE work and how to behave safely in workshops.
Learning methods and activities
The theoretical part of consists of an online course modul. The practice part is carried out at the local workshops and includes demonstrations and practical exercises.
Further on evaluation
Both parts of the course, theoretical and practical, must be completed in order to pass.
