About the course
Course content
The course applies to all students at Trondheim Academy of Fine Art who will work in a model workshop during their studies. The course focuses on HSE (health, safety and environment) for students and gives an introduction to risks associated with the use of workshop machinery as well as routines and handling of tools at construction sites.
The course consists of two parts:
Part 1 is a theoretical part with an online course material and test on Inspera
Part 2 is a program-based practical HSE training at the workshops
Learning outcome
Students shall have the necessary knowledge about HSE to ensure their own and other people's safety during their study at NTNU. This includes knowledge of the HSE-concept, objectives for the HSE work and how to behave safely in workshops. NTNU's goal is that all students and employees should have a safe workplace.
Learning methods and activities
The theoretical part of HSE consist of an online course.
The practice part is carried out in the technical facilities at Kunstakademiet (OBLIG1-5)

Further on evaluation
Both parts of the course, theoretical and practical must be completed to pass the course
