Course content
The internship will provide students with insights into how different organisations work with globalisation and sustainable development in practice. It will also provide students with the opportunity to use the qualifications acquired through their study programme in practical contexts. The experience from the internship will increase the student`s awareness of their own competence, contribute to the student`s academic development and constitute work experience that will be valued and useful in a professional career.
During the internship, the students will undertake an independent assignment that will end in an individual report. The individual assignment has to fulfill the academic requirements of a master's level programme and be informed by relevant theories, topics and concepts connected to the programme. The following are examples of the areas of research covered by the programme, and which the internship project could relate to: International Relations, Social Change, Sustainable Development, Mobility, Conflict and Peace, Cross-Cultural Management, Knowledge and Technology Transfer.
It is the student's responsibility to obtain a professionally relevant internship for a minimum of 14 weeks.
