About the course
Course content
The course is based on a specific agreement between lecturer and students, and aims at presenting new, relevant, and advanced topics within experimental physics. The content will depend on the lecturer as well as the composition of the class.
Learning outcome
After completing the course and passing the exam, the students should have extensive insight into and knowledge about the selected topics in experimental physics that were covered by the course. They should also be able to use this knowledge to discuss and analyze relevant problems connected to these topics.
Learning methods and activities
Lectures. Other activities may be agreed upon at course start. The course is not meant to be an individual study syllabus. Each realization must ordinarily be followed by a minimum of three candidates. The syllabus, date of examination and external examiner must be the same for each realization. When lectures and lecture material are in English, the exam may be given in English only.

Biophysics (PHBIFY)
Physics (PHFY)
Recommended previous knowledge
Master's degree in physics or similar.
Required previous knowledge
Enrolled in the PhD programme in biophysics or physics.
