Course content

FVP3010 Development of ideas, projects and artistic research is a course at master's level with a twofold focus:

The first consists of the student's artistic development as a filmmaker and as disciplinary film practitioner. Throughout the course the student works on defining which technical, methodological and conceptual areas they want to explore and develop during their time as a master's student. This serves as a foundation for the student's individual immersion and artistic development, selection of topic for their written Master's Thesis, and the focus/specialization the master's student conducts through their work with the Master's Production

The second area of focus concerns working on ideas and the development of a concrete film project. This film project is developed to be pre-produced during the second semester (FVP3003 - Preproduction course for Master's production), and then produced and completed as the Master's Project during the second year of the master's programme (FVP3200 - Master's Production and Master's Thesis in Film and Video Production).
