The legitimate absence of 20% covers absence due to illness or other causes. Absence exceeding the 20% limit is not accepted, even if it's caused by circumstances students are not responsible for. In specific cases, like serious or long-term illness, special needs accommodation can be arranged by application to the department.

It is the students responsibility to keep themselves up to date on information from the department or lecturers on Blackboard.

The course is taught in Norwegian only.

Compulsory assignments

Further on evaluation

The final assessment consists of two parts: Production assignments that the students work on throughout the semester; and an individual written assignment.

The number of production assignments to be submitted will be specified by the course coordinator.

The individual written assignment will consist of the students applying the knowledge and skills in film development and pre-production attained during the course in a creative manner.

All components of the assessment must be passed. If you fail one part, you must retake this to complete the course. If a practical assignment part is to be retaken, the date and time for this will be based on the production capacity of the Department.
