Design criteria - quantity and quality, lighting concepts, luminaire design, calculation methods, measuring technique, documentation

Learning outcome

Knowledge: After completing this course the candidate shall know design criteria and design methods for lighting systems. Skills: After completing this course the candidate shall be able to design lighting systems.

Learning methods and activities

Colloquium, project work. The course will be given in English if necessary. The course is given every second year.

Specific conditions

Admission to a programme of study is required:
Electric Power Engineering (PHELKT)

Required previous knowledge

TET4165 Light and lighting or similar.

Admission to the Doctoral Program in Electrical Power Engineering is required to take this course. PhD-students from other doctoral programs can be enrolled in this course on request.
