The syllabus is adapted to each student's PhD project. Only for PhD students with supervisor from IDI.

Learning outcome

Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of a theoretical subject relevant to the student's PhD project. Skills: Ability to apply this knowledge as part of the student's PhD program. General competence: Ability to reflect over the subject in relation to the student's PhD work and in a broader social context.

Learning methods and activities

Seminars, colloquia and self study as agreed.

Required previous knowledge

Mastres degree in computer science, informatics or equivalent, or admitted to NTNU's integrated PhD programme.
