Course content
The module introduces students to a perspective on grammar that is anticipated to support effective teaching and learning of form in language. The module will familiarize students with key aspects of grammar and help them see the connection between underlying structures and languages in use. Common problems that arise when learners use grammatical structures in communication will be identified, while ways of teaching that will help learners achieve more precise use of grammatical structures in relevant contexts will be reviewed.

- in-depth knowledge about how to teach a specific grammatical structure in specific classroom situations

- critically reflect upon his/her own experience of grammar learning and teaching
