Course content
Markup and style sheet languages. Programming and use of client and server frameworks. Client-server communication and REST architecture. Development towards different platforms. Use of databases. Authentication and general security in applications. State of client and server. Testing and analysis of source code.
Learning outcome
Knowledge
Candidates:
- has broad knowledge of client and server development
- can account for REST architecture
- can explain security management mechanisms when developing full-stack applications
- know various tools and technologies as aids in the development of full-stack applications
- has knowledge of developments towards various data processing platforms
Skills
Candidates:
- can develop safe, stable and maintainable applications
- can assess the pros and cons of using different tools and technologies
General competence
The candidate is able to acquire new knowledge in a field in continuous development.
Learning methods and activities
Lectures, lessons, individual exercises and project work in groups with supervision.
Compulsory assignments

Assessment method: Project performed in groups. Individual assessment can be given.
Mandatory work requirements: all exercises must be approved.
In the event of voluntary repetition, fail (F) or valid absence, the entire project must be retaken in a semester with teaching.

Basic programming and Object oriented programming.
