MENTOR: Mental Health Outcomes and Research
The MENTOR research group conducts research within public mental healthcare. In an ongoing joint project between NTNU, Trondheim municipality health care and Nidaros District Psychiatric Center, patients are invited to complete a standardized battery of self-report measures covering symptoms, daily functioning, health-related quality of life and user satisfaction. Register data on sick leave, use of health services and use of psychotropic medication are collected from national registers.
The project aims to answer important questions regarding
- What works for whom?
- Is public healthcare associated with improved ability to work?
