Learning and skill development

The research group for learning and skill development is an interdisciplinary unit that combines biology, psychology, pedagogy and sociology. The main aim of the group's work is to contribute to a better understanding of skill development, knowledge development, motivational factors, learning and learning difficulties, as well as conveying this knowledge so that children and adolescents can receive better adapted educational measures in school. The main activity is research. Other central tasks are teaching and communication.
The research group has five focus areas:
1) Learning and skill development

- Develop a theoretical basis for why and how development and learning take place

5) Motor development
- Development of motor skills
- The connection between motor development, physical fitness and level of physical activity
