Sofia Perez-Simbor, WIBEC ESR6, has received the Best Paper Award at the IEEE Conference on Standards for Communications and Networking 2018 (organized by IEEE ComSoc) that took place from 29th to 31th October 2018 in Paris, France. Sofia’s work was entitled "Impact of Measurement Points Distribution on the Parameters of UWB Implant Channel Model" and was focused on evaluate the potential impact of the measurement points location distribution on the extracted parameters of the in-body channel model considering laboratory experiments and software simulations. The work is also the result of a collaboration with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) of the USA. Congratulations Sofia for the achievement!
