The Department of Public Health and Nursing (ISM) aims for better public health, both nationally and globally. We are responsible for research, teaching, innovation and communication within the fields of community medicine, nursing science, general practice and applied public health.

The Trøndelag Health Study (HUNT) and HUNT Center for Molecular and Clinical Epidemiology are parts of the Department.
