Do you want to explore how you can change tomorrow’s society through product, interaction or service design? – And do you have a bachelor in product design or equivalent design education?
Join NTNU's master's programme in Industrial Design and work with real life problems while acquiring knowledge, insight and working methods from aesthetics, industrial design and engineering.
This program focuses on the societal and strategic dimensions of design.
Our students apply and adapt design methods to real problems from business and public sector while also being introduced to scientific and theoretical approaches used in design research.

This Master programme extends over two academic years (4 semesters) and constitutes a course load of 120 ECTS credits.
The programme offers a combination of compulsory and elective courses. In order to graduate from the programme, you must complete all compulsory courses as well as a sufficient number of elective courses to achieve the required amount of credits.
