The Department of Social Work (ISA) represents one of Norway’s largest academic environments in the field of social work. Here you will find 80 employees and about 800 students.

We contribute to research-based knowledge development in the subject areas of social work, child welfare, disability and the social sciences. With us, you will find profession-oriented studies at bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels, in addition to continuing and further education.

We are located in Helgasetr at Campus Øya.
