The Department of Mental Health (IPH) is doing research and education to increase the understanding and improve the treatment of mental health disorders, developmental disorder, substance use disorder and general rehabilitation.

Our research activity is basic research, applied research, epidemiology and clinical research. The Department contributes to increased competence and knowledge for treatment and health services in mental health area. Department of Mental Health is part of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at NTNU.
