Research activity


The  section has strong expertise in operations research and quantitative analysis in economics and finance. All our research activities are application-oriented and aim to provide the tools and methods for decision support to a broad range of stakeholders from industry and policy in the area of, among others, energy, finance, health, maritime.
In addition, the research section hosts the Norwegian Centre for Energy Transition Strategies (NTRANS) and the NTNU Energy Transition initiative, as well as manages and participates in several other research projects.
