Norwegian meeting on PDEs: Practical info
Practical info
The conference takes place in lecture hall S5, entrance floor of Sentralbygg 2 (math building), Gløshaugen. Walking from the Scandic Bakklandet hotel takes approximately 25 minutes, see the map.
Two different airport buses depart from outside the airport terminal every ten minutes, and it is recommended to buy a return ticket. You can pay with card, and there is generally no need for cash in Norway. The buses call at most main hotels in the city centre, including Scandic Bakklandet for Værnes-Ekspressen, and the nearby "Søndre gate" for Flybussen.
Wednesday afternoon and Thursday evening includes a poster reception and a dinner, respectively, but else we offer only coffee and tea during the days. There are at least four canteens in 2 minutes distance from the lecture hall, as well as some smaller convenience store to buy sandwiches or salads.
The poster session on Wednesday is in the top floor of the math building, whereas the dinner Thursday evening is in the Radisson Blu hotel very close to the Scandic Bakklandet where most will be staying.
If you need help with printing or similar (Eduroam is available), please let us know.
