CHiPS workshop June 2017
Workshop in the framework of the EU project «Challenges in the preservation of structure» at NTNU from 27.06.2017 to 30.06.2017.
We seek to bring together researchers from a selection of topics relevant to the project including structure preserving methods for image processing, shape analysis, mechanical systems, computational quantum mechanics, and problems in Bayesian statistic.
We will discuss application areas for these mathematical methods, as for example neuroscience data. We have invited representatives from the private sector.
Underlying algebraic structures of geometric numerical methods and their connections to discrete integrable systems will also be part of the programme.

The lectures will be held at NTNU Gløshaugen, Sentralbygg II Room 1329.
The conference dinner will be Tuesday 27th, 19.00 at the restaurant
located in the city center of Trondheim:
Carl Johans gate 5, 7010 Trondheim.
