Lung cancer research

Our lung cancer research group is a multidisciplinary research group focusing mainly on small-cell lung cancer (SCLC). The group is a collaborative between oncologists, pulmonologists, thoracic surgeons, medical physicists, bioinformaticians, molecular biologists, pathologists and research suppport staff. The group plans and conducts multicentre, international lung cancer clinical trials, and conducts translational research on liquid biopsies and classifcation of SCLC.

The research group has established a large network of hospitals in Northern Europe who are actively participating in the research activity.

Our main aim is to provide better, more targeted and individualized cancer treatment for SCLC patients.
