Networking Research Group
Networking
Communication networks, distributed systems, and networked services are highly critical infrastructures of our society. The widespread adoption of technologies such as the Internet and mobile and wireless networks have enabled humanity to enter the digital age. Digital technologies also fuel the economic growth in both digital and traditional industries.
The Networking research group performs research in communication networks and networked services, and how they impact the economy, society, and human factors. To address the multidisciplinary research challenges, we have established a group with expertise in system architecture and engineering, dependability and performance quantification, digital economics, and human centered design.
Vision
The vision of the IIK Networking research group is to perform ground-breaking research in the areas of communication networks, networked services, and how networks and services impact the economy, society, and human factors, as well as in disciplines and methods underpinning these areas
