At the Department of Historical and Classical Studies we teach, research and present findings from within the fields of archaeology, European studies, history, classical studies and cultural heritage management. The different fields cover topics from the origins of man to our time. The department offers programmes and courses at bachelor, master and PhD levels. The study programmes in history and history with teacher education are offered in cooperation with the Department of Modern History and Society.
