Simen Fredriksen
About
I work as a researcher in the Analysis and Control of Microbial Systems group at the Department of Biotechnology and Food Science. Specifically, I work with Professor Ingrid Bakke on the FHF-funded project MikroRAS. In this project we are investigating the microbiota associated with the water, biofilter and host in a recirculating aquaculture system where salmon are reared at different particle loads. My work mainly involves bioinformatic and statistical analysis of DNA sequencing data.
