Master in architecture (M.Arch.) from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), 2014. Employed as a PhD Candidate at the Department of Architecture and Technology, Faculty of Architecture and Design (NTNU). Teacher and coordinator at the Minor in Architecture Programme (NTNU). Research focus is on the history of architecture and the history of architectural theory.

Board member, Norsk selskap for 1700-tallsstudier (Norwegian Association for Eighteenth Century Studies). Contributor, Store Norske Leksikon (national online encyclopedia of Norway), responsible for categories Arkitektur i den greske antikken (Ancient Greek architecture) and Romersk arkitektur (Ancient Roman architecture).

Minor in Architecture Programme

The Minor in Architecture Programme is offered to students enrolled in the 5 years Master's Degree Programme in Civil and Environmental Engineering at NTNU. The Minor in Architecture Programme provides the students with an additional specialization to their Civil Engineering education in the form of 30 ECTS credits worth of courses related to architecture. The students are introduced to topics including architectural history emphasizing its technological aspects, parametric design tools handling complex structural geometry, and architectural design in collaboration with students of architecture. Responsible for the educational content of the Programme are Professor Ph.D. Anders Rønnquist and Professor Ph.D. Bendik Manum. I have been the coordinator of and a teacher at the Minor in Architecture Programme from August 2020 to this date.
