Rasa Zuzeviciute is a PhD candidate at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Department of Industrial Economics and Technology Management. Her research focuses on the sustainable and circular management of plastics in Norwegian aquaculture, employing life cycle assessment (LCA), material flow analysis (MFA), and techno-economic assessment (TEA) to develop resource-efficient strategies for plastic waste mitigation, upcycling, and pollution reduction.
With a background in architecture, urban design, and land use administration, Rasa has extensive experience working in Arctic communities in Greenland and urban hubs in Denmark, where she has applied interdisciplinary approaches to resource efficiency, industrial symbiosis, and circular business models. Her research integrates technical, economic, and policy perspectives to advance sustainable material management in industrial systems.
Broader academic interests include circular economy transitions, extended producer responsibility (ERP), and innovation-driven frameworks for sustainable resource management.
